How can a Parish, Person, or a Group help the Center?
FOOD CERTIFICATE PANTRY PROGRAM
Clients who are infected and families of clients under the age of 18 who are affected are able
to get $10.00 a month certificate to Albertsons or Von's or Smiths supermarkets. This is to
supplement the dry food pantries that are currently available. With the certificates clients are
able to get fresh vegetables, fruit and dairy products. We can always use money for this
outreach as well as the certificates themselves.
Donations of money of any amount helps keep funds available for this program.

The response to our Dry Food Pantry has been Great. We are always in need of for the
Pantry.

Pop top items are always handy for our HIV homeless. Food drives or collections to help

FOOD BASKETS
While many think of just Thanksgiving and Christmas there are needs for other times of the
year. Baskets can be centered around any holiday you wish - Valentines, Easter, Summer
Picnic Baskets - can be creative. You can adopt a family for any holiday other than Christmas
or Thanksgiving! Families are always in need.
NUTRITIONAL DRINK SUPPLEMENT
From Ensure Plus, to Resource Plus to Boost even Carnation Instant Breakfast - clients can
always use the Nutritional supplements. The cost of some of these products can be $10.00
for a six pack! Sponsoring Ensure drives or supplemental nutritional drives would be great!
FRESH VEGETABLES & PRODUCE
Always a need and a treat, a case of fruit dropped off at the Center is appreciated and goes a
long way. With the current med's our clients are on, fresh vegetables and fruit are better than
canned items. Drop off a case of something fresh and it is out in client's homes within the
next day or so.
PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS

first aid kits! Many times for our HIV+ Homeless men and women this is a priority.

BENEFITS FOR HELPING.....
From a client who benefited from a past Christmas Outreach.....
"We are a God fearing family and to have had a Christmas like the one my family received
was a blessing from above. God answered my prayers through all you in abundance. I
remember my son said to me one day: 'Mom when I pray to the Lord it seems like he never
answers my prayers.' And I said to him 'Baby you know when you get sick and mom has to
take you to the doctor, notice that when we get there there's always people ahead of us, but
the doctor knows we are there and gets around to taking care of your problem, well, look at
the Lord as always being busy, but he hears you and he answers.' Thank you so much to all
for every thought and every kindness, you truly blessed my family and everyone will be
remembered in our daily prayers!"
